Preschool life at Buen Dia is based on a child-centered philosophy. We believe that children learn best when they develop relationships with the whole community as well as their environment. As children learn and grow, play becomes a way for them to focus on what they naturally need to develop next and will inherently choose what their brains and bodies need for motor, social-emotional, and imaginative development.
Buen Dia’s daily routine provides a framework that allows children to choose their own activities and to participate in group activities such as snack time and circle presentations. Daily offerings include: art, recycle construction, books, table games, dress-up, block building, cooking, science, music and outdoor play.
